Author of Crooks report sick and misses court

The case of Carnal Abuse against former commandant of the Island Special Constabulary Force, Harold Crooks was to be heard in the Jamaican courts today. That, however, has been rescheduled to June twenty-third because Crooks did not show up to court. Crooks reportedly fell ill at around seven this morning and had to be hospitalized. It has also been reported in the Jamaican media, that he has undergone a number of medical examinations since his arrest last Thursday. The charge against him is for his alleged sexual relationship with a sixteen year old girl. He had been on the run since a warrant was issued for his arrest in March and was caught after he jumped from a cruise ship at the Ocho Rios Pier in Jamaica. His link to Belize is the famous Crooks Report, which he prepared after a six month study of the local police department.
