“Dudus” Coke arrives in New York to be charged

In news from New York, Jamaican gang leader Christopher “Dudus” Coke arrived there under tight security to face charges that he flooded the East Coast with shipments of cocaine and marijuana. Coke arrived in a plane that landed in White Plains and is expected to be arraigned on Friday. In his first statement since his detention, Coke said he was saddened by the seventy six lives lost in street clashes between his supporters and security forces in his power base in Tivoli Gardens slum. Coke said “I take this decision for I now believe it to be in the best interest of my family, the community of western Kingston and in particular the people of Tivoli Gardens and above all Jamaica.” Coke faces a maximum sentence of life in prison in the United States if convicted of drug and gun trafficking charges. Coke was captured Tuesday after a month long manhunt. He was disguised in a wig and riding with the Reverend Al Miller, an influential evangelical preacher who said Coke was on his way to surrender at the U.S. Embassy.
Let me just say this he is not sorry one bit for lives lost if he was he would have given up his self from the get go he new these stupid people would die for him because of the money he was given he thought he was the man that nothing was going to happen to him. To all you drug dealer who is doing the same in Belize look out.

Just comes to show how cowardly this so called leaders are, it would have been nice if he would have started shooting and the cops and they returned fire ending his pathetic excuse of a life.

Dudus wasn’t contributing to a productive community. Tivoli Gardens is just a viscious cycle of poverty, criminals and hopeless people.
Dudus with his “contributions” was maintaing a status quo of chaos.
100% Belizean, will you be readily defending the local drug barons in Belize who have contributed to the citrus, banana and tourism industries when (or if ever) their extradition request comes?
Those industries have in turn assisted communities and families, but does that justify the firearms smuggling, cocaine transiting and crack cocaine selling that all boosts our crime rate?
The crime rate that affects those same families that receive a livelihood through those industries?

he is just but a man that the law used when it benefited them and when they could not control him they kicked him out on the cold . a lot of politician should be going along with him. We dont have the fault that USA citizens are drug snorting, druglord just make the best of a market . Deal with the problem at home………………………………..

I am not here trying to defend Dudus or any other drug baron for that matter because we all agree that they deal in death and destruction. HOWEVER, the US criminal JUST US system is cockeyed and corrupt. When it is convenient and serves their purpose, they go to Colombia themselves, buy the cocaine,transport it thru countries like BELIZE and land it in the States.
Do you recall the Oliver North drug scandall that allegedly flooded the streets of south central LA with affordable cocaine ( crack ) so as to finance the Contra war in Nicaragua?

School me,……… when was the last time you heard about ANY……. I mean ANY big time drug dealer in the US being arrested for drug trafficing. Please tell me…. I mean, tons and tons of cocaine lands in the States on the regular and the Importers are NEVER caught. How come??? The only ones who get harrassed and humiliated are their suppliers that they usually turn against the way they did the President of Panama Daniel Ortega. Remember??
The DEA needs to address the cause and not the symptoms. The laws of supply and demand obtains each and every time. If they cant curb the demand, then they are just making a mockery of the whole system. Straight like that!!!!
