5 year old girl raped
Tonight there is a disturbing story of a vicious crime committed on a four year old child. The mother, whose identity will not be revealed to protect the child, has reported that the young girl was sexually abused and the suspect is someone the family knows. According to the mother, on Thursday evening the little girl was nowhere to be found when the baby sitter arrived at school to pick her up. It was later revealed that a man had taken the child from school and she was brutally raped. To protect the child’s and the family’s identities, we also omitted the name of the school and News Five’s Andrea Polanco spoke with the emotional and distraught mother off camera.

And I ask deh, I ask the teacha who ker ah. She say ih look like either ih grandpa or ih uncle and I tell ah my baby nuh got no uncle down yah weh ih deal with. I ask ih teacha please tell me something. She say how she think how dah ih uncle or grandpa, lone that ih repeat. I end up gone dah my grandma house gone get my baby and when I gone deh my baby di sit down pahn the steps.”

I end up call my aunty and tell ah my babysitter di run late, suh if ih could please get in contact with my aunty, her sister and she say ih try get in contact with ah but she say ih phone turn off and she neva did get in contact with me. When I reach home my baby, I open up the car door cause my boyfriend come get me and when I check my baby end up di cry and my baby say ‘mommy I wah live with you, mommy I wah live with you’ and I figured something mi wrong. I gone and I check my baby, when I check my baby ih panty bloody-bloody.”

I nuh know weh I fi do if yuh can’t trust the own school something just wrong and I think Belize, the government need fi put deh foot down and try do something bout all ah deh yah craziness di tek place right now.”

“I can say on behalf of the commissioner we are doing everything in our power to investigate this sick allegation of the heinous crime. We are doing everything in our power. We know who we are looking for and hope to have that person in custody soon. As soon as we have him in custody, I will make sure that you have a photo at least so that we can alert the public of this sexual predator.”
We were reliably informed that the doctors are currently conducting more tests on the child.

Very sad that all the adults that poor child looks up too failed her. the saddest thing who was at home when the child was dropped off???? evidently no one has knowledge what man dropped her to grandma house…..

@Molested, what happened to you was horrible but most men do not molest or rape, my father & grandfather would have given their lives to protect my siblings & I & I expected nothing less from my spouse. This animal should not be mistaken for a man simply because he has a …… Someone in that home or a close associate is a pedophile & every man, woman & child associated with these people need to be talked to, this pervert has probably molested every child who crossed his threshold & they need to come forward. There is no way a total stranger would have known when & where to pick up this child & where to drop her off. How many times has this same pervert picked her up before or babysat. This pisses me off.

Earlier this year, the court freed a child rapist & he returned to the village where he committed his crime, let me remind everyone, he is among our unsolved murders, none of us would object to this one meeting the same fate.
Sad to hear what has happen! number one the school fail big time come on teachers we need to be more careful and parents let teach our children not to go with anyone train them let them know who will pick them up at school everyday. A as a father I just wish and pray this rapist is found and bring him not to justice he doesn’t deserve one nor given a chance she was just a kid and if it was my kid believe me ill kill him my self. This situation is so so heart wrenching. It is so important that whosoever reads this that has any authority please get this little girl, her family immediate counseling on how to protect and manage this little angel’s well being in this after math. Her life and her recovery is critical based on how these days in the aftermath of her rape are handled. I’m hoping and praying that trained authority figures to help protect this little girl does exist in Belize and any chance at healing for her can begin. Times like this I wish a real Dexter did exist but what I wish upon this sick ……. is besides the point. I think as important as it is that he gets crucified, it is so much more important that this little girl not get bombarded with questions as she is in trauma. I believe it’s important that she is nurtured and told every waking moment how previous she is and that what happened to her was not her fault. I wish I could just hold her n make her feel comforted. I wish I had the power to do that. This really just breaks my heart.

Please support the family being aware that the child should be the number one priority, not avenging her rape but comforting her and reassuring her that she has done nothing wrong and she is not to blame for anything.

@ Chance, whether the story adds up or not. There is absolutely no reason for an adult to be so worthless. this is a child we are speaking about. think about if it were your child. Everyone is complaining about the mother, grandmother, and babysitter! but what happen to the darn TEACHER, of that Preschool. She needs to be fired! She was very irresponsible for letting the child go with someone who never picks the child up from school! this is a sad case!
It is sad the approach the mother is taking. How can you joke about the possibility of your child being taken advantage of? It’s true who feels it know – unfortunately it’s not the mother or caretaker who had to endure inhumane pain, it was an innocent baby girl. My eyes are filled with tears each time I think about it. I give birth twice and it’s still hard for me to be intimate at times – it hurts! Why did you turn a blind eye to your motherly instinct?? Trust your feeling mother!! 99.9% of the time your instincts never fail you.
This is so sad and heart breaking for me. Today is the first day i actually head and read the full detailed of this story. When my sister called me and was telling me about the story i really didn’t want to hear it. After reading this story i cried i can’t believe how heartless this monster is. I believe that he should be stoned to death he need to feel pain death is the easy way out. Mothers need to interact with their child more. my heart goes out to the family and i pray that God keeps that poor baby safe for the rest of her life.

how can this happen to a young child and no one knows who the man is that pick her up or dropped her off?.. it is very obvious that this is just the surface of this story and something is being covered up by that family. how can the mother say she knows the person her baby is blaming for this horrible crime and yet the grandmother cant say who dropped off the poor child? why dont they try to get a picture of the “suspect” and ask the teacher if he was the one who took the child from school? how can all parties involved be so careless with a 4 yr old child? i have a 4 yr old as well, and i can tell u.. heads would be rolling.. in fact i wouldn’t ever dream of being so careless with whom i entrust my child with.. my heart goes out to that poor child who has suffered a great injustice due to negligence.. and i really hope by hearing this story, similar parents open their eyes and realize how dangerous it is out there and are moved to take better care of their children….
