Thieves steal toddler’s medical instruments

A family is seeking the public’s assistance in locating some medical instruments that went missing from their luggage on public transportation. A team of surgeons recently completed general pediatric surgeries on group of young children. Today, one of the patients was heading home on a bus to Chunox when upon approaching Orange Walk Town the mother of the toddler noticed that some of their belongings were missing from their luggage. Milagro Garel of the World Pediatric Project appeals to the public for the return of the medical instrument to the family.

“When she opened her bag, she realized that they had stolen, her bag was missing like a pack, it’s like a black wallet looking and it has dilators inside. I believe there are like eight dilators, they are stainless steel. And very importantly it’s for her two and a half year old son who just had critical surgery and he needs the dilators to be able to continue correcting the surgery that they did. We would like to be appeal to the public to please, if anybody knows about these dilators if they could just drop it here, wherever they, as long as we can get it to the patient, or else the surgery is going to relapse and the poor baby is gonna have to go through surgery again. And this is of no value to anybody else, but to this patient.”
