Prime Minister joins ailing wife for urgent medical treatment in U.S.
Kim Simpliss Barrow
The Prime Minister left the country earlier today for Miami where his wife, Kim Simpliss Barrow is receiving treatment for breast cancer. Simpliss Barrow was re-admitted to the hospital on Sunday evening after developing complications relating to the cancer treatment. Having concluded chemotherapy, she is now receiving radiation. As we understand it, her heart was not pumping to capacity which required her immediate hospitalization. Tests show that Simpliss Barrow has water in her lungs and only ten percent of her heart is functioning. She is also anemic. The Prime Minister will be out of the country for the rest of the week. The D.P.M., Gaspar Vega, will be functioning as acting prime minister.
My prayers are with Mrs.Barrow and all Belizeans facing and fighting cancer.
Maybe Mr. Barrow needs to step down for a while … His wife needs him NOW.
Keep the faith my dear, God takes care of his children. You are in our prayers and you and your family have our continued support. Keep praying – prayers are powerful, they remove mountains.

My prayers goes out to the first lady and our beloved Prime Minister of Belize. People don’t understand when decease get over you body, it hurts and this lady is going through so much pain right now, we need to pray for her so that she may have the strength to get up and be the person she use to be. UDP or PUP, it could be your mom, sister, aunt, grandmother etc., lets get on our knees and pray for her recovery, that God would send His angels to heal her right now and that He protect our Prime Mininter as he face this painful decease with his wife. Thank you Lord for the blessings right now, thank you, thank you, in Jesus name, amen.

I am a 15 year breast cancer survivor, I know the agony that Mrs Barrow is going through. It is a time for us to put our differences aside and pray for her total healing and for the Prime Minster as he supports her at this very hard time.
Lets pray for the First Lady and all the men and women in Belize suffering from cancer!!!! A horrible disease.

While it is difficult to prevent Cancer, and this is not related to the above story, we gotta keeP reminding our belizeans that the other horrible disease HIV can be prevented by using condoms and minimizing your sex partners to just one. HAVE YOU TAKEN YOUR HIV TEST?

Mr prime minister, it dont matter what your country and the rest of the world will tell you i know there are no words that will make you feel better. Just think of the beautiful time you guys had and will have in the future because she is very strong and she knows that you need her. You will see that everything will be ok. If this will make you feel better your country of Belize is with you and allways in our prayers.

I Would never wish this upon anyone and to hell with politics, this is a time for all Belizeans to pray for Kiim and everyone else who is battling this disease. I am a survivor who also lost my wife of 37yrs. to this evil disease in Februray, so to you “whyaminosurprise”, you never know until it knock’s at your door. To the Barrow Family, this is a very crucial time in your lives and Kim need you all more than ever now. You all must be strong for her and remind her to always have “HOPE” to cling on to and it’s not over until God say so. By HIS (JESUS) Stripes, Kim is HEALED. Been there done that and may The Almighty Father Bless you all during this very rough time.
