Belizean living in Scotland confesses to stealing from Post Office
A Belizean, who was working as a Post Office Manager in Fife, Scotland is now doing unpaid community service after he admitted to stealing two thousand, five hundred and fifty British Pounds; that’s over eight thousand Belize dollars. Twenty-eight year old Dylan Lindo was in charge of an office in the Balmullo area had he was responsible for gathering pouches of cash at the office to be handed over to security guards for deposit. But in July 2011, sticky fingers got the best of him and Lindo kept one those money bags for himself. He was taken before the Cupar Sheriff Court and pleaded guilty to embezzling the funds. Sheriff John Halley told him that, “This was a serious offence that involved a breach of trust in your responsibility for dealing with money.” Lindo was spared prison time and has been ordered to work two hundred and forty hours of unpaid work in the community.
The world is always better off when justice prevails. He dodged a bullet by a merciful Sheriff.
Earlier, we explored the possibility of hero worship with Mr. Lima (the cop) but now, we have a real hero here.

When will be ever learn that we should not kill the goose that lays the golden egg. Apart from the none letting go of the bone to jump at the shadow, this is among one of the first life skills that our parents and teachers instilled in us. Some people just really hard to learn.
