Venezuelan Ambassador speaks on relations with United States
The Venezuelan Ambassador says that the opposition is fueling the uprising and accuses the US government of throwing its full support behind the Mesa de la Unidad Democrática, MUD or when translated, the Democratic Unity Roundtable. According to Perez Marcano the United States is protecting its business interests in Venezuela, but it will not be allowed to control the decisions of the Venezuelan government with regards to oil.
Yoel del Valle Pérez Marcano, Venezuelan Ambassador
“We would like to have the best relations with the United States. In the first place, the U.S. is our commercial partner; we sell them one million barrels of oil daily. There are important American companies that are working, producing and providing jobs in Venezuela. We recognize that the United States is a world power and has interests in the region. Of course they would be interested in maintaining our commercial relationship. This is not the problem. The problem is that the United States wants to control our Venezuelan oil. This is not possible because this oil is Venezuelan oil, at the service of the Venezuelan people, under the leadership of a democratically elected government. This is the primary contradiction that has caused wars in other countries, such as Libya and Iraq. This is part of their military and economic strategy. The United States of America has direct connections to the political Opposition of Venezuela. Organizations such as the Republican Institute and Institute of the U.S. Congress and many more American organizations, are focused on the education, financing and training of radical groups of the Opposition in Venezuela, whose purpose is to de-stabilize the government of Venezuela, causing its downfall. Oil plays an important factor in all this. If we weren’t an oil producing country, with so much oil in store, the United States would not have so much interest in us and they would not be supporting the Opposition. Venezuela has a sovereign government that has put in place mechanisms that allow the oil industry to serve the people of Venezuela. The commercial value of our oil meets the needs of our country as well as assists with the PetroCaribe program.”
In Thursday’s newscast we will tell you what the Ambassador had to say about the future of the PetroCaribe agreement with Belize.
Venezuela has nothing to show.
The US is a dying empire. Their nose is always up in many countries’ business.
LOL: The U.S. will still be the #1 superpower long after you are dead, buried and forgotten.
Sorry dude!
Mr. Blowe: The number of meaningful things that the U.S. ranks #1 in is declining every year. Hell, China’s economy is expected to overtake the U.S. before 2020; followed by India shortly after. Venezuela has been the largest financial contributor to Belize for a number of years now. They even offered to help us refine oil.
The Chinese and Russian military are regularly collaborating with each other to strengthen regional defenses. The U.S. is over 17.5 TRILLION dollars in debt. They are hemorrhaging allies all over the world, most notably is the recent German scandal involving spying on Angela Merkel’s phone. The U.S. spends close to 60 cents on every dollar earned to further increase their arsenal of life ending weaponry, while millions go with-out water in Detroit and are forced to seek UN relief. LOL! the UN has to give humanitarian aid to Detroit, imagine that! Infrastructure all over the U.S. is crumbling. This is a fascism through and through. Mussolini used the same tactic in Italy; outrageous national debt followed by hyper inflation and the liquidation of all the countries assets to corporations with the industrial military complex claiming the lion’s share. The USA NEEDS WAR to sustain it’s economy.
The U.S. is in major decline. Both China and Russia have dropped the dollar as reserve currency and are cutting back on using the dollar for trade. Other countries are following suit left and right. Unless I am killed in what is sure to be an unprovoked attack on the rest of the world from the US, or one of their many proxies, I intend to see the U.S. empire fall and crumble into dust during my lifetime.
The signs of decline are evident if only you open your eyes. From trying to provoke a war with Russia over the Ukrainian crisis to stroking the nationalists sentiments of the Japanese, the U.S. is like a Kraken with it’s bloody head cut off, trashing about every which where.
Long Live Belize! Long Live the Bolivarian Revolution! LONG LIVE SOCIALISM!
