Pharmacy Association goes public with a list of bad decisions in health system

The Pharmacy Association of Belize was outraged and went public when the post of Director of Drug Inspectorate was created and Danini Contreras, the daughter of Minister Contreras, was appointed to it even though she does not qualify. Since then, the association has been speaking out on a myriad of decisions taken in Ministry of Health that have been negatively impacting the health system. Today, the association issued a bulletin on a list of actions taken by M.O.H. that is weakening the system, but now their resolve. The chronological list looks like this: the removal of the Chief Pharmacist from tendering and procurement of pharmaceutical process; the suspension of the Licensing exam required by Law and the cancellation of regularly scheduled exams. There is also the lack of support by M.O.H. for the acquisition of a Mini-lab; the suspension of National Formulary, the issuance of Chemist and Druggist Certificate to individual not deemed competent to practice under the Laws of Belize and the recent contracting of an unlicensed, inexperienced and untrained individual as Director of Drug Inspectorate.
Every one in a high post in this gov. Is not qualified not one not even the this corrupt pm. Is qualified for their jobs nothing but big fat thieves and murderers in this gov. Period.

Well isn’t i a time for cabinet reshuffle? this issue is dragging on for too long. The CEO is liability to the current government, he is petty, vindictive and does not care about belizeans. Let him go…a change would be just about right at this time……
mein corruption and nepotism is killing this country,sooooooo much corruption and nepotism that Belizeans are kept more poorer and poorer,and ignorant. nad the puppet master dean barrow just keeps treating Belizeans as puppets and Belizeans just stay their and do noting at all,many are afraid of the puppet master,we in the north still cannot forget when he ordered the BDF,police to fire at the cane farmers years ago and he said” if i have to do it again I will do it again I repeat that is not my industry,I repeat that is not my industry” that were word from this arrogant/vindictive dean barrow government.its recorded for all if we want its recorded on national radio broadcasts,i still remember those words.ignorant,arrogant dean barrow.justice must prevail,and ur days are done ,the people have the power and come election time ur gone.
