In sporting news closer to home, Belize’s women have won their first two softball games against Guatemala. Thursday night’s scores were 10-nothing and 6-3. Winning pitchers were Kenisha Sutherland and Mary Flowers. The series continues at Rogers Stadium on Saturday with the first of two games getting underway at 5:30.
