The suspect detained for Thursday morning’s killing in Cayo has been arrested and charged with murder. Twenty-three year old Melvin Salazar of Santa Elena is the man police believe chopped Ermindo “Chakiste” Coc to death at a logging camp near Barton Creek. The crime occurred following a late night drinking session.
