Body of Bernard Rosado found at river mouth

The body of 45-year-old Bernard Rosado was recovered today by police from the mouth of the Belize River, downstream from the Haulover Bridge. As we reported yesterday, Rosado had plunged into the river several miles upstream on Monday and never surfaced.

Mark Henry found not guilty of murder

In court news, Mark Henry was this morning found not guilty of attempted murder and robbery. A nine member jury acquitted Henry of both charges which arose out of an incident in December of 1994 in which one Fidel Castro was shot and robbed. Henry defended himself while Marilyn Williams represented the crown.

Hugh Fuller Jr. Dies at 47
